90 students from Aberfoyle Park High School, Christies Beach High School, Eastern Fleurieu School, Hallett Cove School R-12, Mount Compass Area School, Wirreanda High School and Yankalilla Area School participated in a SMAF Orientation day at Flinders University.
The students rotated through a series of three workshops where they experienced a taste of Year 12 Chemistry, Physics and Specialist Mathematics activities. They also got to meet their SMAF teachers and received information about the courses.
A parent / caregiver session was also held later in the afternoon and this consisted of a tour of where the students will be studying next year, as well as a presentation by Liz Mead (Principal of Aberfoyle Park High School) and two ex-SMAF students, Clare Rowley and Jennie Bartle.
